Vardy's Celtic Bombshell! Premier League Icon Wants Rodgers Reunion as Glasgow Transfer Wars Ignite

Glasgow's Transfer Scene Explodes with Vardy Rumours and Rival Moves

The Scottish transfer window is heating up dramatically, with a bombshell report suggesting Premier League legend Jamie Vardy is desperate for a sensational switch to Celtic. The former Leicester City and England striker, renowned for his fairytale rise and title-winning heroics, is reportedly eager to reunite with his old boss Brendan Rodgers at Parkhead. Sources claim the 37-year-old has his "heart set" on a move to Glasgow and is determined to extend his prolific career until the age of 40, viewing Celtic Park as the perfect stage for his final act.

Hoops Eyeing More Attacking Firepower

Celtic’s potential shopping spree doesn't end with Vardy. The Scottish champions are also understood to be monitoring Feyenoord’s creative attacker, Calvin Stengs. The 26-year-old Dutch international could add another dimension to Rodgers' frontline as they prepare to defend their title and compete in Europe. These ambitious moves could be partly funded by a welcome financial windfall, as the club is expected to pocket a seven-figure sum from a sell-on clause in former youth star Ben Doak’s impending transfer from Liverpool to Bournemouth. On the outgoings front, promising young right-back Colby Donovan could be set for a loan spell to gain first-team experience, with both Dundee and Ayr United reportedly holding talks over a temporary deal for the 18-year-old.

Rangers Make Their Move

Across the city, Rangers are making significant moves of their own. The Ibrox club has reportedly reignited its pursuit of Roma left-back Anass Salah-Eddine. The 23-year-old defender is a key target for Philippe Clement’s side, but they face stiff competition from Spanish outfit Elche, who are also vying for his signature. While looking to strengthen their squad, Rangers are also showing a firm resolve to keep their key assets. The club has swiftly dismissed a loan approach from French Ligue 1 side Lille for striker Hamza Igamane. The Moroccan forward is clearly part of Clement's plans for the upcoming season, with the club unwilling to entertain any temporary departure.

Meanwhile, in a classic case of 'what might have been,' a forward previously linked with a move to Ibrox, Dor Turgeman, is reportedly on the verge of a move to the MLS. The Maccabi Tel Aviv player is said to be finalising a deal with New England Revolution, closing the door on a potential switch to Scottish football.
